This policy explains what happens to information when you visit www.mahalakshmihatcheries.com, the website of Sri Mahalakshmi Group of Hatcheries ("we", "us", "our").

1. Who we are

Sri Mahalakshmi Group of Hatcheries produces Vannamei and Tiger shrimp seed from four hatchery units in the Nellore, Tirupati and Prakasam districts of Andhra Pradesh, India, trading as Sri Mahalakshmi Hatcheries (Units 1 and 2) and Vara Mahalakshmi Hatcheries (Units 3 and 4).

2. What this website does not do

It is worth stating plainly, because it removes most of the usual concerns:

• There is no contact form, no enquiry form, no login and no account. There is nowhere on this site to type your details.
• There is no analytics — no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no visitor counter of any kind.
• There are no advertising or tracking cookies. In fact the site sets no cookies at all. See the Cookies page.
• We do not sell, rent or share information with anybody for marketing.
• Nothing is bought or paid for on this site.

3. The one thing stored on your device

If you switch the page to Telugu, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage under the name smh-lang. It holds a single word — en or te. It never leaves your device, it is not a cookie, it is not sent to us or to anyone else, and clearing your browser data removes it.

4. Information you choose to send us

The call, WhatsApp and email buttons hand you over to your own phone or mail app. If you then contact us, we receive whatever you send — typically your name, phone number and what you want to order. We use it only to answer you and to supply seed, we keep it no longer than our normal business and tax records require, and we do not pass it to anyone else except where the law requires it.

The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. Once you are inside WhatsApp, Meta's own privacy policy governs that conversation, not this one.

5. Third parties that do see something

Google Fonts

The page's type is loaded from Google's font service (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser has to ask Google for those files, so Google receives your IP address, the approximate time, and basic browser information. We do not receive any of that, and no Google cookie is set for this purpose. Google's handling is described in Google's privacy policy and their Fonts privacy FAQ.

Our host

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web server, it keeps short-lived technical logs — IP address, time, which file was requested, browser type — which exist to keep the site running and to defend against attacks. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Map links

"Get Directions" opens Google Maps in a new tab. From that point Google's terms and privacy policy apply.

Video

The videos on this site are files served from this site itself. There is no YouTube, Vimeo or other embedded player, so no video platform learns anything about you here.

6. Children

This is a business-to-business website for shrimp farmers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

7. Your rights

Because the website itself collects nothing, there is normally nothing of yours for us to show or delete. If you have contacted us directly and want to know what we hold, or want it corrected or erased, write to srimahalakshminellore@gmail.com or call 89783 74567 and we will deal with it within a reasonable time.

8. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
