2. This site is informational only
Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, or a binding commitment to supply. There is no online ordering, no booking system and no payment facility here. Descriptions of our seed, our units and our process are provided to help you decide whether to talk to us.
An order exists only when it has been agreed directly with us — by phone, WhatsApp or in person — including the count, the price, the date and the delivery arrangement. Availability changes constantly and is never guaranteed by this website.
3. About the product claims
Statements such as "PCR-tested", "100% antibiotic free", "CAA-approved feeds", "ultra-filtered water" and "strict health checks before dispatch" describe the process we follow in our hatcheries. They are statements about how the seed is produced.
They are not a guarantee of the results in your pond. Survival, growth and harvest depend on many things outside our control — pond preparation, water quality and salinity, stocking density, feed and feeding practice, disease pressure in the area, weather and general management. We give no warranty, express or implied, as to yield, survival rate, growth rate or profit.
Any complaint about a specific consignment must be raised with us promptly, and in any case within the time we agree at the point of sale, so that it can be examined while it is still possible to do so.
4. Images and video on this site
Photographs and video are used to illustrate the species and the kind of seed we supply. The clips in the "Shrimp Seed, Up Close" section and the moving background at the top of the home page are illustrative footage and are labelled as such — they are not recordings of our own units. Nothing on this page should be read as a photograph of a specific batch you are buying.
5. Using the site
You may read this site, print it, and share the link. You may not:
- copy our text, photographs, video, logo or design for your own commercial use without written permission;
- present yourself as us, or as an agent or authorised dealer of ours, without written authority;
- attempt to break into, overload, scrape at scale, or otherwise interfere with the site;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
6. Intellectual property
The name Sri Mahalakshmi Hatcheries, the name Vara Mahalakshmi Hatcheries, the logo, and the text, layout, photographs and video on this site belong to us or are used by us with permission. Nothing here transfers any right in them to you.

Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp and any other outside service are provided for convenience. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them.
